Passionate about the sport at only 4 years old, he climbed into the saddle of his first motorbike at the age of 5 and at 7 began to obtain his first important results by winning the 50cc Italian Championship. At 8, he participated in the 65cc Italian Rookie Championship, which he finished in second place.
In 2014 Valerio started to be noticed and in 2016 he is proclaimed Italian Minicross 65cc Champion at only 11 years old. The following year he finished as Vice Champion of the Italian 85 Junior Championship. For two consecutive years, in 2018 and 2019, Valerio achieves more than one title per season becoming Italian 85cc Champion and European Nations Champion. Also in 2019, he enters the world Olympus by winning the 85cc World Championship.
In 2020 Valerio moved up to the top 125cc category, winning the selective races in the centre south and finishing fourth overall. The year ended with a fantastic 9th place overall, with a win at the GP of Mantova, in the 125cc European Championship.
In the 2021 season Valerio achieved two great results with the MRT Racing Team KTM, winning the 125cc Italian Motocross Championship and the 125cc European Championship. In 2022 he raced in the same team but in the top category, lining up for the 250cc European Championship. In 2023 he remained in the same category but raced with the KTM of Beddini Racing and arrived 5th in the championship.
