Becoming passionate about the sport at the age of 4, Valerio jumped on his first bike when he was 5 and only two years after he achieved his first important result, winning the 50cc Italian Championship. When he was 8 he took part in the 65cc Italian Championship, finishing it with a 2^ place overall.
In 2014 the young rider became an athlete of national interest and in 2016 he won the 65cc Minicross Italian Championship. The year after he achieved the 2^ place overall in the 85cc Junior Italian Champion. In the following years, 2018 and 2019, Valerio conquered more than 2 titles per season, becoming 85cc Italian Champion and European Champion with the National Team. In 2019 he also reached the highest result of his career, winning the title of 85cc World Champion.
In 2020 Valerio moved to the 125cc category, participating in the 125cc Italian Championship and finishing with a 2^ place overall. The year ended with an amazing win on his home soil (GP of Mantova) in the 125cc European Championship and with the 9^ overall position in the Championship.
In 2021 Valerio, with MRT Racing Team KTM, achieved two great results, winning the 125cc Italian Championship and most importantly the 125cc European Championship. In 2022 he moved up to the higher class. This season he will continue in the 250cc European Championship but with Beddini Racing Team.
